In short: neither this website nor the CyberMap app uses cookies. Both keep a small amount of information in your browser, only to keep you signed in and remember your choices. There's no advertising, analytics or tracking.
What we store in your browser
- On this website: your light or dark choice, if you use the switch at the top of the page.
- In the app: your sign-in, so you stay signed in between visits; the page you were opening, if you followed a link while signed out, so we can take you there afterwards; and your light or dark choice.
All of this is either needed to provide the service you've asked for or remembers a choice you've made, so under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations it doesn't need your consent. Your account, settings and watchlist are kept on our servers, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Clearing it
You can clear it at any time in your browser's settings, usually under cookies and site data. Clearing it signs you out of the app and resets your theme choice; it doesn't affect your account.
